I think I might be one of the few people in the U.K. who is smitten with summer rain. I love the storms that roll by, makes me feel all cozy and warm with a cuppa, a stupid grin on my face and Mr.Bugsy jumping at every opportunity to eat or drink whatever he can get his paws on or his face in, funny little kitteh! heh heh.

On another, more sober note, it's been ages since I went out, there's so much work to do: three websites to get up and running by the end of next month, I'm late with the end of year accounts for the company (which means I have to pay the first late filing penalty fee) due to computer crashing, illness and to top it all off the scanner died.

One more thing I have to do is a new Arts & Design portfolio for next year (who says old farts can't start university from scratch?) It's quite hard to go back to drawing and designing after years of being dormant or idle.

I feel as though I'm drawing for the first time, and the way I see art now is completely different than how I did before.
[Very interesting observation; when we get older, the way we perceive everyday life, and other deeper issues and thoughts is always evolving or developing into something new and different, our styles change and the way we extract the minuscule details in every day things.]

I haven't been on this account for so long I almost forgot it was here and look at all those pageviews! I'm thrilled about it and sorry I wasn't able to put any more effort in to this. I haven't been going out at all, not even to the back garden. I miss taking pictures. I tried to do it indoors but they came out soulless and dark.

Health and reality mostly taking big chunks out of me, I should fight harder than I already am, I will It's only a matter of time, soon I'll be back on my feet and out and about and there's no stopping me! hehe.

I'll try to put something remotely 'nice'. I doubt I'll find anything, but it won't hurt to try.

After a long weekend of non-stop work from the wee hours of the morning, I think I ought to have a well deserved break.

Saturday: Battled with a snotty looking woman for a tray of faux bijoux at an auction house, and I had failed. My reward was an old tin box with Marge Simpson's Necklace and buttons (I didn't really know until I had won it) *sigh* and received a depressing e-mail from a friend.

Sunday: Up and running since I woke up; Office work, Paper work, Filing, Cleaning, Laundry and the occasional heated argument with a family member throughout the day.

As midnight draws near, and I can't stress enough on this, but I'm dreading tomorrow. I think I'll go out and take a few pictures on my way to the post office, and then catch a random ride to Scotland, with random people, and no money. How idiotic. meh.
